I honestly was trying to find something bigger, but as far as I could tell, there was nothing in the enclosed chamber models for under the 5k mark.

From what I can tell, having the enclosed and heated printing chamber is highly desirable to eliminate printing defects in the plate itself.

I've not ever had a multi color able printer before, let alone one that was capable of printing up to 16 colors in a single print, so I'm really looking forward to stretching her legs.

I had to scale it down in Fusion and I forget what percentage it was, so here is the original file and my scaled file. May have just been my slicer, I have to scale a lot of downloaded files.

I will say, if you don't already have some TPU, or don't have any other need for it, then I'd just buy them from GFC. They are only $32 for all 6. I needed TPU filament for another project anyways, otherwise I would have just bought them.

First print off the new K2 +:

Some giant Lego studs to go with some LEGO branches for a LEGO wreath. Everything printed perfectly and the colors were easier to figure out than I had anticipated.

The coolest part is, so far everything snaps together/apart just like real Legos.

The "branches" are printing RN as I type. Will eventually get to something like this

    il_794xN.6500117510_e25d.jpg

You can also DL .stls for snap in bats, candy corn, spiders for Halloween, and eggs and flowers and the like for spring and such. Pretty cool, the wife is jazzed about how many different holidays/seasons it can be customized for.

First post in this thread. Below is copied from a post I made in another thread. Already love the addition of a printer to my toolbox. Uploading some more photos now of the first truck part I made....

Well boys, I always told myself i had to use those years of engineering school for good. had a nice long run, but today i used it for evil.
Wife gave me 3D printer a few days ago as an early christmas gift since we'll be traveling for the holidays. been making tool organization and some truck things, but today......today marks the beginning of jeep guys walking up to their trucks and having to wonder.....did i get ducked, or did i get dicked?

probably already on some watch list for drawing that CAD model :bananadead:

Relocated my CB radio into the dash, which opened back up the cubby in front of the cupholders. Decided to make an insert that would allow me to turn it into a wireless charging pad. Original design filled the entire cubby, but then I realized I wouldn't have room for running the wires, so I shrunk down 3 of the 4 sides.

Another 8 gang panel version here, first time with a rear window slider switch and first with a tall switch up top for another member.

As a Jeep guy, this is fucking hilarious! I like the first version of this but will you move to multi color? Yellow duck, orange beak, dick color to be decided?

probably not venturing into multicolor. i got the machine more to make functional parts and maybe some molds for CF work, so all color changes would be manual at this point, or separate parts glued together. might print some in black with some bigger hardware though. "special eddition" if you will. there's a fairly active local off roading FB page and just about everyone knows everyone do to the Overland South event that's held here, so the comradery is great. i would love nothing more than to see a post on it with "i got the big dick version today!"

    shooting you a PM

post a photo! curious what settings you use. photos i posted were the first two with identical settings, i refined a bit and got the lines smoothed out a bit and the print speed up. currently printing with a 1mm wall, no infill, and supports on the beak, balls, and tip. depending on. i wasn't thinking and modeled it in inches, so if your slicer pulls it in as millimeters, you'll just have to scale it up. ones in the photo are 45mm tall.

You say that now but like me I don't really do any toys or random printing I usually print just functional parts and my own designs for project but I ended up getting a AMS for one of my printers and just loading every slot with just black so I didn't have to switch rolls out every time one ran out lol.
