Ok so I pulled what I suspect are 1&3 (I guessed) and now all the rgb lights are doing a strobe show, but the game launched.

Popping them all back in and see what happens.

 

Strobe is normal, most motherboards have onboard controllers to change it but default is a color changing pattern.

But good, like I said we're just confirming whether or not it wants to play nice on your setup.

Worst case I just send you a refund, and you give away the ram modules you found to work best in the event that suddenly one of them is acting up.

A memtest is the quickest way to check and I only kept them because they passed on my other rig.

 

Ok wow maybe it just needed another restart, cuz now she seems happy and the frame rate is super smooth. The strobing fan LED is odd as hell but I can deal with that.

So I'll have to play with it more later but it seems to be running now...

 

I think we are good. The strobing is not the rgb shift, literally strobing while doing that, epilepsy shit. I shut off the led lol

Did a quick test, it seems smoother frame rate wise, but I do see the CPU is operating at a higher percentage. Is that normal? Like 85%. Cause for concern?

 

RAM was your bottleneck, released that bottleneck so then the CPU was able to step up

 

It would just state that your CPU wasn't allowed to work to it's potential for your game.

The 16gb you had before probably held you back hence your CPU wasn't allowed to be utilized more than it is now.

GPU utilization should always be at 100% though!

Haven't played it in awhile, but I remember it being really good in every way and that's hard to come by nowadays
