I've never craved the need for speed. My buddy I hunt with, on the other hand. Had us flying down cty hwy's at 60mph in that little soap box of a SxS. Diff was just a howling running at 6500 rpm.
I don't know if that's normal for a SxS but it sure didn't sound normal.

I'm just thinking, if we hit a deer we're fudged.

In some places it’s more dangerous to go slow. When I was in the Carolina’s, if you weren’t doing 85+ you were gonna get rear ended for sure

I broke 100 a few times with my '15, but it was usually just for a few seconds. The 4Runner rarely sees anything higher than 80-85. I was surprised early on how comfortable it is at 90. But, you can actually see the fuel level gauge moving at that speed. :D

That's a situation where I might have to look into alternate routes if I ever pass through. I'd rather take a little extra time and not die.

When you broke 100, was your wife with you?
    I didn't think so.

I took a buddies r6 out for a ride one time and I stopped once I got to third gear. Not sure what you are supposed to do with the other 3 it has.

Drive out to Moab with the WI TW crew
during a snow storm in Colorado. That will put some hair on your balls.

I80 was nothing but ice. Couldn't see the lines on the road. Everyone was riding the rumble strips at 35mph.
On ramps were closed so if you exited, you weren't getting back on.

Yeah, nothing like being completely unprotected driving something that will go 160+ MPH. I am sometimes thankful that I couldn't afford one back when I wanted one.

Couldn't see the road, it was covered with snow drifts. That was a back road because the interstate highway was shut down.
Personally,I don't like driving on bad roads.

I don’t push my Z really, on s bike you feel the speed more. It scares me a bit more to. Has the ZX9R motor. It’s a blast. Love it with the opened exhaust.

I am on couch duty again.

Whatever was kicking my ass earlier this week is making another round. I woke up coughing about 17 times last night. Texted the boss around 3:50am and shut off my alarm.

Going to take vitamins and drugs and watch a few movies on my new giant TV (actually not that big in today's standards, but it seems borderline ridiculous to me).
