    This seems to happen to me every year after I get one bowhunting.(the next morning a giant buck walks past my stand) This year the first thing I did after loading my buck in the Tacoma was take my cameras down. :thumbsup:

    Just returned from a small scouting mission.
    Looking at the maps, there's a 600 acre public about 15 mins from my house.
    Took a road going thru it. Muzzleloader is open right now and it's a ghost town.
    Mixed hardwoods with stone walls. Archery only on one side of the road, firearms on the other.
    No lottery slug gun area as well.
    Don't know if it's hunted heavy for that, but late season may be promising.
    May be good for Spring Turkey.
    Have to sniff it out some more.

    He was SO excited. I told him to be patient and watch the tails of the does. Sure enough, two young bucks came out and started tangling with each other. He let me do all the field dressing myself! :thumbsup:

    I've shot every deer I have seen while hunting this year... So you missed me, but my daughter has at least put some meat in the freezer. I still have almost 2 months of season left though
