I'll put my z up there as well I think. I actively tried and planned for it to blow up. Genuinely tried. Maxed out the boost controller, added way more timing than I thought, and it refused to die. It was unbothered by anything I did aside from taking it apart because I needed to find ways to push it more. It lived for 3.5 years at 570whp before it developed low compression on one cylinder, at 200k miles on the original bottom end that poor engine

We should have done something with that block after instead of just letting it sit in your driveway.

the 6.0 is still pretty desirable since they're pre DPF/DEF

I think its desirable to the right person, but that kind of person doesn't always have any money. You don't buy a 6.0/6.4 to do work since they're unreliable and at this point flat out old. Those guys buy a 6.7 that can be a workhorse. The 6.0 owner is perpetually looking for value where none exists and they can "bulletproof it bro" but it'll still disappoint them eventually. I don't see that as a great tradeoff for avoiding emissions. Just take the emissions systems off and store them until testing on the new ones. Guys that sell their systems are dumb but if you hold onto it for testing or sale later it'll be in great shape.

    Dude that's a sick setup

I hear ya on the rudder thing. I forget what helo I was flying around in MSFS2020 but I was telling myself "man it'd be great to have pedals right now"

When are you upgrading monitor(s) and GPU?:spending:

I haven't really dived into the helicopters yet, they are challenging to fly but I'll get there eventually, some of their missions look to be a ton of fun. I'll probably need to turn on some assists to get proficient. And I'll hang into the Saitek for that, the yoke just wouldn't work.

Super pumped for the yoke though, should be more natural control of things. Even landing with a crosswind, you can hold the angle with easy vs trying to control pitch, wing level, and rudder all with one hand on approach. Backordered until February sadly.

Monitors and GPU upgrades, well that's a snowball situation I'm trying to avoid. If I want new monitors, I will want bigger, which means I'll want a bigger desk, my setup is a bit cramped right now. And if I want new monitors I want a GPU that can handle the upgrade in visuals, and then I'll have to figure out if my CPU is up for the task.... I think for what I'm doing though, my setup is ideal, a good middle of the road. For graphics, performance and controls.

You could ask them to pray for you to not die from using their sub par parts.
