Seems like an inverter is in the cards for this years Mod list. (Means I need it) As I understand the inverter is located in the console. Lookin’ for a pure sine wave unit but I’m unsure of the physical size in the console. So, here goes…typical TW question.

What’s the biggest inverter I can run…size speaking. I’m not gonna run 3/0 wire or anything stupid.

I don't think you can really use any of the existing wiring because it's only meant for 400w so you're not bound to putting it in the same spot unless you have to.

I think you could probably use a 3000w inverter for a short time if needed. 1000w should be more than sufficient for most and the truck can support its use

I’m running a 1500/2400 watt for charging drill batteries and any other things needed.

Looks good. Yeah, that’s about as big as I’d want to run. I’ll be using it for the same purpose. Batteries.

Huge shoutout to @Atlas86 for donating a huge pallet of oatmeal. The SOTEC club has found a home for this super quick to some families and food banks in the halton region. This includes some of the families we have purchased toys for.

    Gotta love it!

That's the most oatmeal I've ever seen in one place. And I worked in a grocery store.

consider using a DC charger for more efficient charging as it eliminates the loss related to the 2 inverters you have in line.

Anyone have a 2nd gen 4.0 OEM starter they wanna sell?

And related to the topic Heres my 12V setup.
I didn't want to connect the 1000w inverter to the original 120v harness because the wires were very thin gauge.
    12v 100Ah battery
    1000W inverter
    Renogy 50A dc-dc

I avoided the DC battery charger because its $160 and charges slower.

    All yours.

like I said I got this off @honkonbobo so I’m not sure of the history. If I recall it just needs brushes which he has.

it’s all yours. He gave it to me and I’m giving it to you.

I’m passing by Milton tomorrow off the 401 in the morning. If you can wait I can meet you next week sometime. Meet you around Guelph line and Derry. Not sure where in Burlington you are.

He is going through it. I couldn’t possible ask for more. Swamping a truck in the winter blows.

He will be getting a flag though!
