I was thinking about this yesterday and wondering if you had it in yet. And like Walter I’m curious about the plywood what do you think it is.

 

Good morning to all. Our dusting of snow has melted away, still cool temps, though. upper 40's/low 50's for next few days.

Not yet in, it’s 7 -1/2” , 9 -3/4”, I think it’s Poplar , really light, hard to work with, kinda stringy/splintery. But yeah it’s pretty cool, need to get it done!

Yes it’s pretty nice, light, can’t get it locally. I really like Baltic Birch but it’s pricey, heavy and hard to find

 

I haven’t gotten any recently but I get a pre finished for cabinet interior panels that has very few to no voids. I am thinking it for mine when I get time for my projects. I did get shop time in the winter in the past but it’s not playing out that way this winter so far. They also have the pre finished per dadoed drawer sides where I get it. In 4” and 8”.

 

I think it might be Bass wood, pretty lite- soft, once all the finish is on it’s pretty nice.
