Got it. That's what I'll do then. Will help because I don't know how low they will sit for before I have you weld them.

Plate front but cheap! Haven’t decided what rear I want to keep. Could be persuaded either way.

For a hybrid or tube front have Jack make you one.

You have no idea. My whole shop is rust right now because of that 60 degree day last week.

Bridgeport looks like it came off the bottom of the ocean

I have my eye on this one from C4. A bit pricey though. I'll need to save up.

Brute Force 750(I think, I know it was a twin) is what my buddy had before he bought his Can-Am. I wouldn't mind one of those. Get a plow for it, etc.

I'd prefer one with power steering, but.. not a priority.

But, I need to survive tax season first.

I bought myself an inexpensive thermal camera for Christmas. Always wanted one - it's very fun to try out:

All this talk about shotguns - I've been in love with them since I was a kid. My workhorse is a lightly modified Mossberg 930, although I spent almost 20 years running the snot out of the 870 family before I got a semi. I have a 20ga 870 at the smith right now, cutting the barrel for chokes and having the necessary engraving put on for the stamp. The GF is really interested in shotguns but needs something small and light, and I told her not to worry - if she didn't like the shorty 20ga, it would absolutely not be going to waste.

My brother and a buddy and I keep kicking around the idea of going to Gunsite sometime for one of their shotgun courses, if for no other reasons than a) fun and b) to see what kind of drills they might have to add to my rotation.

I had a Brute Force 650i from 2007-2018. Had a plow on it for a while. Loved everything about it except that it was carb'd and ate tie rod ends like crazy. A 750 would be top of my list to buy if I was in the market.

Power Steering / EPS is 100000% worth it. I was the guy that said "Hell no, I'd never want my quad to have power steering" when it debuted on the Grizzly back in 2007 or whenever it was. Having ridden thousand of miles with and without EPS, I wouldn't own a machine without it.

No one would ever dispute that she's better looking than I am! But one of her Christmas gifts is an LL Bean wearable blanket thing because she's always cold and walking around the house wrapped in a blanket.

I had a Grizzly 660 - @Clark27 has it now. I took on trails with a friend a few times in the first couple years I had it, but for the past several I was only putting 2 hours per year on it. I had a list of little stuff it needed pop into my mind whenever I did use it, along with some routine maintenance stuff that should be done. I started adding it up and realized I shouldn't spend money on something I don't use.

A friend has a couple CF Motos - a 600cc ATV and 800cc side by side. The ATV is clearly trying to copy Yamaha, and they're cheaper, but he has had quite a few issues that he doesn't think would have happened in the same conditions on his old Grizzly or Kodiak.

That list is now my to-do list for the spring. It’s gotten no movement at my house so it’s gonna get a deep dive in the spring and hopefully see some real work next year
