Yeah I don't use cruise control ever. But I can't live without AC

 

Same. Cruise control in the truck at this point would feel weird. 130k miles of always being at the wrong speed feels so natural.

 

My sx didn't have ac either. Or power anything.

I wish I had cc in my sx. But also ac.

Dang, what a bummer! At least you found it now though, and not after it destroyed the joists!

I'm surprised you have a pex crimp there, I've always loved pex b/c you pull home runs in the same way you do electrical. No crimps except at the ends of the line.

Can you sheetrock yourself, or is that a hire-out job?

See that's what I would have done too. But this dude put 90⁰ junctions basically everywhere there was a corner. And T one too.

Lot of places for failure now in my house. Not confidence inspiring.

I've never done it. But will be now. Good practice anyways as I plan on doing it in my bonus room maybe this time next year or so.

Looks like I can save the joists I think. Hoping. Let it all dry out and see. Gotta cut the rest of it out tomorrow.

Well, the trans gave out in the dodge, I guess they put 2 different transmissions behind the Cummins. 1 is good and 1 isn't capable of handling the torque and guaranteed to fail between 50,000 and 150,000 miles if you tow a lot. Just out of warranty of course so traded it for a 2023 GMC. Had good a run with my 08 GMC and have heard good things about the L5P Duramax so here we go.

That last duramaxx saved my ass so hopefully this one does good! You flat bed it or leave the box?

 

Undecided, it's a 6 1/2ft box which I've never had on a full size truck. Going to run it as is for now and see how I like it. Have a flatbed on the 12 valve that I can use if I need one. In the world of 80k and up trucks it was a small concession to make for everything else I wanted at a fair used price.

I saw that place when I was at the Sawmill. Definitely want to try it, but they had a sushi place there and it had been a year since I had sushi. Not sure if they have them in your area but we have a couple places where it's a fancy food court with breweries too. If you ever make it down here I'll have to take you there, even if I know the beer won't be up to your standard

 

Triple D went to the location in Santa Fe. Much more extensive menu.

 

I guess you'll have to come visit and we can do a food tour

 

I have always wanted to check out NM. Now there is even more incentive.

Have you found any really good (Hot) green chili? The region is noted for it.
