    Is it working right? I’m not sure if there’s any adjustments but ones that are setup right tend to stay that way if used regularly.

    Honestly I'm not sure of the ins and outs of the 4Runner parking brake but I remember my tundra I had also had a terrible parking brake and that was brand new. I have also heard from other people with Toyotas that have rear disc brakes that their parking brakes are not very good

    Anything beats the old Celica Supra one. Mini brake shoes that were paper thin. Drive with it on 6’ & they’re done. :frusty:

    Lol! There is a chance that I have perhaps taken the traction control and stability off already. But no I'm just complaining about the parking brake under normal use. The first time I tried it was in my snow covered driveway and I pressed it down going literally 2 miles an hour and it ever so gradually coasted to a stop lol. Then I tried it on a mild incline and I had to push it all the way to the floor for it to hold. As mentioned it probably needs adjusting but it's too cold for that shit lol

    If I may suggest shakin’ a good can of penetrating oil & spray where the cable enters the shielding. Work it a few times & see if that helps.
