But that's lame, I don't even post on IG

Bolt-ons I already did on a Taco, 4R, and Land Cruiser for off-road reasons

Still got a fully built C4 that lives in a garage and a non-running Z that has some bolt-ons

If I'm gonna wheel, I want a solid axle PU

I'll need to remember this type; see I'm a Marine so we don't think

I went around it with a bunch of zip ties and I couldn't pry it apart so I hope those last long enough :anonymous:

I have two, they live in my aunt's garage in Salinas and have remained there for some years.

My mom pays in lieu of paying for a storage unit I share with her. Granted I use most of it, but she insisted on paying me so I told her if she could just pay her sister for me.

I mean it's a C4, basically the drunk uncle pissing in the bushes of Corvette culture.

Thank you, my back is killing me.

Easy work for most of y'all but I had to knock it out today since I can't do much work during the week. I stay at home with my little one while my wife works through the week.

    That's the C3 :luvya:

The C4 is just a slightly soggy noodle version of a C5 :anonymous:

At least they look nice. And comparing a C4 to a C5 is offensive. C4 is a pickup truck compared to the C5 and C6.

The way it handles? Absolutely, my C5 is a Z and it rides like it's on rails.

The C6 I had was, well it felt more like a grand tourer compared to the C4 or C5. I loved that thing but didn't drive it much and figured it'd net me the most money by selling it.

When I last owned it before getting rid of it

And the Mustang I bought the ex before she wrecked it  what a dumbass

@Speedytech7 Did I ever tell you the story of the 5.0? How it became worth nothing?

My sister's Tacomas got hit by a Sequoia that ran a red light and caused her to crash into a highlander (and a Subaru). Luckily there was an officer on scene when it happened and everyone walked away. I think that's at least the 3rd time she's been hit in that truck and they finally managed to kill it:deadhorse:

Thinking about it, think I only shared it with 2 people via PM.

Long story short, broke up with my ex.

I continued paying for insurance for what, a year or so after we separated? That's when I had moved and got my own apartment and rented out the house. I did this because I was always the sole provider, having always paid for everything including having bought her that car.

Told her she needs to put insurance on it and I'm going to stop paying; I was only doing so cause I took the car out in our names but being that I was on the title, I didn't want to get hit by DMV with the whole "we won't renew your registration" shit.

I took it off, and about a month+ went by and she wrecked it. It happened around 1 or 2am one night and I didn't know until the next day cause I saw a bunch of missed calls that night.

I didn't want to talk to her (cause we were separated) but I was like oh shit, hope you're alright, etc via text.

Wasn't until a week later she called (I didn't answer) over and over and resorted to texting me all pissed asking why the fuck did I take it off the insurance without telling her, cause she was trying to make an insurance claim only to be told it wasn't covered. OOF

We didn't talk, and she left me a long voicemail some days later apologizing about getting upset cause the burden was on HER to get insurance and it's her karma or whatever and she fucked up.

She ended up selling it for cheap though last I know, but yeah karma's a real bitch! I just chalked it up to her being a fucking idiot and literally throwing away what could've been a 20-30k check for an insurance payout.

The only thing I was a little sour about was the fact that I kept that car in great shape, both mechanically and visually. I had even bought her leather seats (Katzkin) for her birthday and got it detailed like 2-3 years after I first bought it for her.
