yeah rates are better too but they usually scrutinize heavier on the house condition and require a occupancy within 60 days as your primary residence. Not a bad thing but I don’t see myself relocating for 18 months. I just expect housing prices to start increasing again

... probably best to see where the market goes. Why do you feel housing prices are going to increase again? Pardon my ignorance, but I haven't been following the market, and now I'm curious.

 

Oh yeah Baby! It's ugly here this time of year without snow. I've experienced no snow here at Christmas a couple times ... it just feels wrong.

Most people see the housing market as an appreciating asset, various factors between lowering of interest rates might make the tight market inventory to be more competitive resulting in offer prices rising, potential cost of new building materials due to pending tariff cost being pushed to the consumer…

I’ve seen everything from projections resulting in a -0.8% price decline to as high as +10.6% increase in housing prices over the next 12 months.

I know I could purchase a house today if… well I lived where I want to.

A year or two from now it’s hard to say.

but this is my opinion and generalized broad strokes of my understanding. Individual markets will vary and I’m basically a retard so I’m probably wrong

I’m basically mindf*cking myself. I’ll relocate come hell or high water. Literally switched to a 4runner because I can sleep inside it if I had to. I’ll find a way even if I hate the outcome.
