What Have You Done To Your 4th Gen Today?

Installed this button in the console. Soldered the blue and yellow wires to the opener circuit board. Tapped the red and black wires to the red/white and white wires going to that button on the right. I got the opener from Amazon and the button from AliExpress. It lights up when the lights are on.

 

Best mod just paid out the remainder of my loan a few minutes ago.

 

in the pic you showed with the covers up, was that the most they open? Will they go vertical, particularly the one most forward?

 

The one most forward can fold flat onto the front one. You have to pop off gas shocks otherwise that is as far open as they go.

 

Gotcha, thanks. The forward one was the one my comment was most directed toward, actually. Be awkward to get some items out if it didn't go at least vertical. Folding flat is even better.

 

I think I was not very clear. The panel at the tailgate can fold flat. The panel at the cab does not fold flat.

 

Got a chance to test out the Baja Boss ATs in a snow storm on the way to Lake Tahoe today. These tires are excellent in the snow. Also very quiet considering how aggressive the tread is. This 2.4T has zero issues moving 35s. Still working on that intake sound clip

Edit: Does anyone think the 33’s look too small on my truck with just a 1.5 leveling kit?

I have the same set on my truck. Rear fitment was great, but the front leaves a lot to be desired. They do look pretty cool though and do their job. $100 for the complete set I can't be that picky.
