VooDoo Blue Spray Paint for Model?

I bought one of those 8" long die cast models and it doesn't come in voodoo blue.

I'm looking to paint it to surprise my buddy for Xmas.

I'm looking to get some paint, but don't want to spend crazy money for it.

Anyone know a color that is close enough to voodoo that I can get in a spray can?

You can order a rattle can on Amazon that will be a factory match. I paid around $30 for a can of inferno orange to match the bezel on my dash and it is more or less perfect. I'd give that a look if it fits your price range.

Check Amazon or ebay. I bought inferno paint off ebay and had my Maisto grey tacoma painted Inferno Orange.

 

I did the same thing using a touch up spray paint can for army green. Looking up the paint color code for your color can help you search for what you need too (for example, army green is 6V7).
