Woke up at 3am to the sound of Dex getting ready to barf (followed by barfing) in our room…take him downstairs to go out and an immediately hit by an overwhelming stench of dog crap and see two huge liquid steamy piles in the living and kid play rooms

We tried out a new ice cream joint yesterday close to the new house, our old one would always give Dex a pup cup of whipped cream so we asked this place for one. He gets very depressed if he doesn’t. Kind of makes me wonder if they used something else in it. The forbidden pup cup

 

Did you use to heatwaves to help clean the mess

 

Haha no I didn’t, I used two 18 gallon garbage bags one in each hand and tried to keep from barfing myself

there is some kind of foul demon that lives in the digestive system of this dog I swear

 

Huh? The sheet metals the same. The older ones had worse but heavier crash’s structure. The door is bent because the moron I bought it form never informed me the car it’s off of was whacked in a way that all the energy went into the latch

 

That's kind of what I thought assuming it's the same way as an older Tacoma and 4Runner - a sensor connecting to the PCM (3 wire) and a sender going to the gauge (1 wire).

However, letting it run while I burped the system last night still had the temp gauge slowly creeping up like normal. I never did find a plug to go to that one in the picture above.

Fast?

I don't know what's fast or slow. All I can say is I had the worst time with the rear starter bolt towards the driver side. I used a small pry bar to hold the wiring harness up just to get a few inches of clearance.

It must have changed with newer versions. There are so many similarities between the 99 model 5VZ and 2UZ that I'm in comfort zone. Things had to have changed with later versions. I'm glad that son Andrew was here to help with that project. His hands are much smaller than mine and can reach into areas that are impossible for me to access.

I looked on Marketplace and there is a long list of Wranglers for sale at low prices compared to anything Toyota in southern states where it doesn't snow. If someone is looking to have the Jeep experience, this might be a good time to try it on a used one.

 

Think that's what my saving grace was, my hands aren't the biggest but it doesn't mean I didn't get my arms chewed up going in

Just got done running errands in the wife's car and now I'm in the GX

She idles just fine

 

At least he avoided the new rugs we had in both rooms

 

Now to see what's going on after this test drive

 

Garage looks like a hoarder’s nest, slowly getting stuff put in its place but every time I look at the pile I get anxiety. Can’t wait to have it cleared out and organized…someday
