Had the truck tuned today. Initially I think I am pretty happy. Mild was too much for me and spinning out a lot in the wet weather today during the test drive. Changed it back to light/ mild. To the mountains tomorrow to see how it performs.

Is changing the tune presets something you can do at any time or do you have to take the truck back to the tuner?

They didn't feel over tightened, but it's possible, not out of the question. Thing is I remember this shake from way back many miles....

I’m fairly certain you have to take it back to the tuner. My understanding (and someone please correct me if I’m wrong) is an OTT tune payment covers future tweaks and re-tunes for just this kind of situation.

Yea basically do the same thing as when you met up with him to tune it. He will flash your CPU with his laptop and adjust the tune or remove it. Takes a couple minutes. Ya just gotta wait till he’s in the area again. They make their rounds. Not long till he’s up your way again. I had mine lightened up from medium/spicy down to mild/medium which feels better for everyday driving. I might even tone it down more to get rid of the jumpy low mph acceleration in traffic.

Knock off TRD pro grill/garnish, seat covers, new front mats, wireless CarPlay adapter, LED interior lights, console tray. Quality of life "should have come this way stock" upgrades. Appreciate all of the knowledge on TW on these and other fixes!

Recieved the BDRM from fellow TW member oostroma couple days ago and will say this thing will rock once I have my components ready. Solid and mounts up with ease, fantastic fit and will fit along with my hope of keeping things around the dash clean. This will help with a solid hold for phone and new tablet upcoming. Check it out, thank you for a well designed product

I have a manual transmission, I went with Medium and gotta say it's nice! I only drove back home (mostly highway) so I'll have to drive it around a few weeks to get used to the pedal and see if it stays or not. The best thing is that OTT will change it anytime (with an appointment) without extra charge so who knows, I might be going spicy for a while! :burnrubber:
