We haven’t got a clue what it’s worth! Doug Hopkins offered $388 and realtors say ask mid $500. In the long run it’s worth what someone else will pay.
After we got done gutting it and replacing everything but the solid oak cabinets my wife posted pictures on Zillow. We had a few couples from Cali. knock on the door to give us their info if we ever wanted to sell they could pay cash. But that was a few years ago. Plus I get daily “investors” wanting to steal the place‼️ Zillow pulled down the pictures about 6 months ago. My wife tried to repost but couldn’t. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Realtors are dime a dozen in AZ and 99.9% of them are not worth their asking commission. When I sold my last house this summer I had to fire one and hire an attorney (who was also a realtor). That attorney got the re list contract and sold it for my asking price.

If you're realtor shopping, I wouldn't give those clowns more than a month in their contract length unless you really know who you're working with. You can always extend the contract if needed. Their commission should be a set fee not a percentage and certainly not 3.5-4% to represent a buyer.

They're all a bunch of property leeches waiting for their next commission like a drug addict and their behaviors and tactics really inhibit the transaction process between the buyer and seller.

God you can say that AGAIN‼️ Absolutely none of them want to work they just want to get you to list then they sit on their ass and wait for someone else to sale the property.
I found a flat fee broker that will list in the MLS and do everything for $1k
We wanted to look at a property in Catalina. I found the property and contacted the listing realtor to ask if they could meet us at the property. So an hour and a half drive later we meet at the property the listing realtor has another realtor meet us from his office but before he will unlock the door he gives us a contract to sign. My wife reads over it quickly and it states if we purchase a property anywhere in two counties any where around Tucson in the next 6 months we owe (Blank) Broker 4% and $195 in commissions! My wife had to yell at me from wanting to F up this guy. God I was so pissed‼️ Mother F**ker wanted us to sign a contract just to unlock the door!

We are now looking at Southern NM and only taking to new home builders! (We are wanting a smaller town / city at about 4000 to 4500 feet in elevation). 90% of home builders will not change a thing in new construction houses. We are looking at having a semi custom, actually found a builder that will enlarge the garage to what ever size that will fit on a lot.

 

Not about realtors, but ... I dismissed a couple of rental houses because my Tacoma would not fit, even diagonally. I still have maybe 1.5 ft between the truck and the door. If I had a Tundra or an F-150, 20 ft garage would not be enough.

 

I know a contractor in Albuquerque. Did/does a lot of customs homes in Santa Fe, but sure wouldn't mind heading south.

 

Oh, and fuck realtors. Bartenders and strippers who got tired of the hours.

I have some random stuff I've got listed on FB marketplace but will give a discount to any of you folks.

Full sized desk. IKEA but one of the "better" quality ones. This was mine then i let my daughter have it and she put more wear on it in 2 years than i did in 20. Teens... Has blemishes on the top where the finish came off from stickers, scratches and some sharpie stains. Dents on the corners and other obvious signs of its age.

I have it listed for $40 but if anyone wants it, come pick it up and it's FREE99. It's going to need a trailer or long bed to take it. Also, you can tell it's not all shit particle board because it's heavy.

Just trying to free up some space.

 

Not the best pic of it, but I have a BedRug mat available in Goodyear/Avondale. Had it under the OEM mat so it's in great shape, but I don't need it anymore. (The lines and shadows are just from my headlights - it doesn't have any marks on it.) It has a Velcro strip stitched on the bottom side but will need a new Velcro hook strip to affix it to the truck. $40 sounds good for this.

 

$100 bucks for the TV stand and matching bookshelf.
