    Mine was an R-9 new but, has been rebuilt and now has R-10 rails.

    I agree with you on the doe meat tasting better. My wife won’t eat deer meat anymore so nowadays I keep the back straps for jerky and everything else gets processed into sausage and sticks.

    Truth after about NOV the bucks go full rut and meat is better for chilli or summer sausage. Ive gotten them in to late october and they are good.
