No we can't shoot them down, its illegal here sigh.. Can't even fly up your own drone.

Anyway, wanted to ask have you seen anything similar in your states?

Also, do you think AI can disable 3rd gen tacoma ? 2nd gen is too old for that so that's tech proof

lol, has someone watched fast and the furious recently?

AI is really not at all what the fear mongering makes it out to be.

big companies are still struggling to get AI to complete simple tasks consistently, and require massive server farms that no single person really has raw access to. not even extremely attractive supervillans intent on ruining "the family".

but AI always works off a hidden ruleset that shapes and restricts it's actions. that ruleset is put in place by the owners of the AI software--specifically there to do the bidding as they desire and to suppress negative actions. try any of them and instruct them to 'hack the pentagon'. it can't be done via public channels because of those rules. AI is software, and current AI software is owned by very large corporations. for an AI to do something 'Very Bad' in the real world, it would have some very bad consequences for the company that owns that AI--not dissimilar to the high frequency trading fiasco in 2010 that started the 'flash crash': https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_flash_crash.

that said, AI or any bad actors can have access to ANY system that has an internet connection, and can only go as far into a specific product depending on what is connected within the device. in the tacoma example-- if remote start, and hvac temperature adjustment is available to the official owner via the internet, that means that it's reasonable to expect that any bad actors could have the same level of access at a minimum.

at the current global climate, i think we're far more likely to experience EMP bursts as a result of nuclear warfare, but at that point, we'll all be ashes anyways so extended discussion on vehicle access will be somewhat useless. but EMP bursts would effect anything electrical with computer chips, which would include every vehicle from at least the 1980's-- anything that's not carbureted...

AI is pretty much in the toddler stage. When it becomes a teenager is when the serious threats to society will begin.

All kinds of wrong in this. First the FAA should have knowledge of these they are blocking at least one airport I have heard of. These are not hobbyists as that number of them and that size. Either someone knows something and they are not saying or someone is in on it.

I’m quite sure our government knows what they are, and who’s behind it.

What they don’t know is, how to make up a believable story to feed us, the American people.

No way in hell anyone of us could fly a drone over the White House and “no one know who did it, and it’s not a threat”.

Most of these "drones" are people that have never looked up the sky to see a plane in their life until social media or the news told them something weird was happening. Small planes and helicopters are flying over populated areas all the time.

Break out Flightradar24 to weed out legit air traffic. It doesn't always capture military planes in my area, but it is surprisingly accurate.

From the reports, they are quite large and its not the people. Over here its a federal offense to fly a drone without license, and fly a drone over infrastructure like water reservoir or military bases. I believe its our government, Russia is too broke to build drones and China wouldn't randomly be able to have a submarine swimming around our coast.

Its just stupid, and people are starting to panic. I don't see sht from my window, but i am going to drive over there some night and check out myself

When I say small plane or helicopter I mean not an airliner, something like a EC135 that handles air ambulance duties for my local hospital and is 33' long or the Piper Pilot which is currently landing at the local airport that is 23' long with a 30' wingspan. That is large to the average idiot that thinks the gubmint is hiding something from them and assumes all drones are the same size as the one the neighbor kid flies, but small in the aviation realm.

    Yeah.
They know they are their own drones.
They just ain’t gonna tell us. Probably because they don’t want us to know what they are doing.

    I’m not going to lie.
I don’t really care what they are doing.
I just wish they would say, it’s them (the government) that are flying them.

As for why? I don’t really care.
I just hate stupid games. And having to be ok with stupid answers.

I know good and well the government isn’t this incompetent.
It makes them (our government) look “stupid” and us (the people) look more stupid for believing their story.

    Not that I know of.
But I haven’t kept up with it.
I’ve kind of lost interest in them.

I don’t have the ability to find out they are.
And the people that can, won’t.

So, carry on. Nothing to see here.
    Works for me.
