The fine was $1:00 with him rolling his eyes but I spent half the morning arguing it. Waste of time all around.

Yeah that could work, I guess it'd have to be some sort of signal wire off the ignition, meaning vampire tap or something to a relay - which would need to be either a 12v micro thats rated for 30A inbetween

    upload_2024-12-16_16-15-44.png
In the doodle above, the baby blue would need to be the new relay...

issue i have now is *WHERE* to wire that. I didn't leave myself much room to double relay something and if i am to do that, i dont have much for wiring left either. Schematically that makes sense, Room wise - i can't fit my man-mitts.

GUESS TIME FOR A NEW BUILD.
What i currently have for a relay box

I could use something like this 10 slot since i do have a relay or two floating around for the horn and something else. could repackage that into this box....

Realistically... i can 3D print out a full relay box with a second set of micro switches that are all "keyed on" relays and would just need to rewire or add in a bypass....

Could make it out of the ASA plastic i have kicking around... and i can make a rubber gasket with the TPU i still have.....

ah fuck i'm designing and 3D printing a relay box aint i?

Edit: ah hell yeah this exists:

    Raffle update

Okay! So we have raised $370 from the raffle and spent $342.14 on toys. That leaves $27.86 left over plus what the club is matching

    $370+$27.86=$397.86

So the club is going to donate $400 to sick kids. We figured since we have already done many food drives plus the recent donation of oats to the food bank, sick kids was the best option.

Can't tell what the schematic is doing...

Power for the light should go through a fuse from battery power then a relay. The relay's coil should be powered through a ignition-switched source then through a switch in the cab.

All the ignition-switched fuses are under the dash. The only ignition-switched fuse in the under-hood fuse box is the INJ or IGN fuse. If you tap into that fuse and leave the light switch on, your light would illuminate when the truck does periodic evap system self-tests after it's been shut off for some time.

My ditch lights and light bar relay set up. They are wired as a ground side switch. I personally like to be able to turn my lights on with no key. I like to live risky.

Lower ball joints on the Tacoma suck. Need a special tool and even still need over 12 tons of force. And when they finally let go they go boom. Pretty violent.

have fun with the marlin tabs.

Mhmm. Honestly, that hamburger we had in Hamilton was almost as bad as the Burger King in mississauga.

Thanks @tacoma16 and @honkonbobo For the starter.
and @Saturnine for the TW express.

looks like the LCI tacomas got a smaller motor. Gear reduction housing looks the same. My contacts were very worn down.
