Barrett-Jackson is just eye-candy for anyone who likes cars. They have such international exposure and international attendance they make it fun just to be there.

 

Westworld in Scottsdale has all kinds of fun events.

There's an off-road dirt expo this Saturday and Sunday.

I may make it to look at things I "did not know I needed". If I do I will bring my "AZTW" sticker.

 

The off-road expo was a complete bust. I'm sorry I recommended it. The crowd of people looked like they just rolled out of their tents from a weekend of camping and the ticket counter thanked me for paying. I got the impression some of the crowd was just letting themselves in. Real classy bunch of people.

Barrett Jackson is a much better experience, but there's a mix of people at those shows too. At least the vendors and things to do and see are a lot better.

I thought it was south by southwest the old event in austin tx…

but I’m pretty sure it’s a side by side. Those larger more powerful UTV vehicles.

 

Short for side-by-side ... the mini-car roll-cage things that people "yahoo" around trails often with little regard to the terrain they destroy or how other vehicles are annoyed/confused by the antics.
