Make sure you remove your LCA’s for the install.

You will 100% thank yourself for doing it.

I installed mine with them still on the truck and it was not worth it.

I had this done on the truck, but sprayed a lot of water after each pass to cool bushings down.

cam cam bolts are seized. I have to cut them out. I’m planning to weld it in the spring and install new rebuilt control arms. I just under coated my truck so I’ll wait a bit.

dont know if your going to use stock bushings again but the whiteline bushings have held up great. I think tacoma16 runs them also thats where I got the idea from.

It wasn't the bushings that were the issue it was just the fact the LCA’s were in the way. Total pain in the ass to get grinders and welders in passed them at a good angle.

Its doable but I wouldn't do it with the LCA’s still on next time.
Been there, just got to home depot and grab a 10 pack of the best sawzall blades you can find before you start. Lol

No issues with the white line for me.

I have used energy bushings for other things without issues but wasn’t aware they had them for the lower control arms.

You want to stick with the rubber compound bushings, polly bushings are not the best in our climate and wear out much quicker resulting in stiffer ride and clunks

Wonder if they squeak like the old ones did. That noise drove me crazy but that was my only complaint about ‘em.

Energy wants you to reuse the thin metal sleeve around the OEM rubber bushing. I don't know how that's accomplished if you need to cut the old cam bolts out.

You have to reuse the metal sleeve that the rubber bushing is attached to. Burn it out and wire wheel it. I have did lots of them in my Honda days.

Some may remember my snow scoop that I put wheels on years ago. This year I decided to improve my snowblower. Will it work, if Toronto gets any snow this year we shall see.:)

No shortage of work for it here. Saw my first battery one just the other day. Looked impressive but it was warm & the blower was brand new.

What’s the purpose of the wheels? Avoid scraping or damage? Have seen people add wings to the side to make each pass a bit larger.

Avoid scraping too much, and when its time to turn around hopefully it will help. Also sometimes you just want to move it so no tilting it back just let it drive. I did try it out but without snow cant say for sure if it will make a noticeable difference.

I'd like to get a battery one but I've had this for over 20 years and man its worn out but still gets the job done.
cold weather and batteries just don't seem to go together but then again the 70's brain washed me:) as evedent by my "engineering"
