The best buck I’ve yet seen on the hoof was standing (waiting for the traffic) between the lanes on the Sawmill Parkway in New York. I was avoiding the X Bronx (I-95). Speaking of 95, why on earth is it 3 lanes, at least, for most of its length except for the entire bit through South Carolina?

Sorry, I meant to explain but was at work and was called away.

So these were deer I had shot over the years that weren't quite big enough to do a full mount. So I thought I would put them in the chest type freezer in the garage and then get a European mount done. As I'm sure some of you know life tends to get in the way and I didn't get around to it. Well we sold the house so I had to do something with them. Went to the chest type, open the lid, and at some point it had quit working. I somehow managed to get them into plastic bags and brought them into work and and dump them out into a fenced-in area we have on the course. Then let nature take its course. The process of getting them into plastic bags and bringing them in was fairly horrific.:puke:

I had community service hours when I was younger and the only place to do them in my hometown was a dump. We had a hunting lease crew bring in three deep freezers from the lease that had lost power and sat there for several months. We had to unload it all and I’ll never forget that smell. There were people unloading thier garbage 30-40 yards away that were puking from the smell.

Just thinking about it is making my stomach turn, 20 years later.

I had a small uprite freezer that had gone bad, I emptied it and put it in my shop with welding rods in it to keep them dry. The smell was still there 15 years later, I left it and a lot of the welding rods when we moved last August.

The guy at church that let me bring the kids over to shoot some does a couple weeks ago, I told him I told the kids not to tell anyone where they shot them so people wouldn't be bugging him to bring their kids over, etc. The smile on his face seeing the smiles on my kids faces was awesome.

Sunday we were cleaning up after the Christmas play and I heard the guy tell the preacher if he wanted to bring his son over to shoot some does to come on. He didn't know I heard him.

I think that is awesome. The man puts in so much time in his numerous food plots, etc. and not only shared it with my kids, but others as well. What a class act.

I helped a friend clean out an upright freezer like that in TX heat. Actually nothing was wrong with the freezer. Just that the shed would kill power to outlet when you turned light off:eek: worst smell ever. I didnt puke but did a couple dry heaves...trash guys were pissed too

Class A misdemeanor possession of a concealed weapon.

had a fucking blackjack under my passenger seat when I got pulled over at 17 y.o. Cop thought I was drunk. Passed all the tests. That was his way to take me to jail when he realized I was stone sober

Dunno but it would suit me if they’d eliminate the off ramps!

When I was in high school, my oldest brother left a cut up doe in a couple of styrofoam coolers out in our Garage/Shed that was not connected to the house. My brother forgets about it, and a couple of weeks later my dad goes out into the building to look for something and bumped into one of the coolers nocking the lid off. There are no words to explain how pissed off he was. I was forced to help my idiot brother dispose of the stinking rotting deer meat. I had to tie a bandana around my face with old spice splashed all over it. Yeah, its a smell I don't want to remember.

Or put the fish scraps after a beach surf fishing fillet party in the back of the family station wagon and forgot to take them off till after noon the next day. My dad caught hell for that the rest of the week. Lmao, that was 45 years ago at least and still a vivid memory and smell.
