Well I finally got the alternator load tested and it failed. Weird how a alternator would go bad on a 4 year old truck with 47k miles. Oh well

I'm kinda confused. I thought it's a weld on kit, but it comes painted?

When i got my bypasses the guy also had this kit for 500$ brand new in box. I didn't want it but had to pick it up for the deal alone, sold to a buddy. Kinda regretting that now

$4.5k is a bit steep for a couple CAD renderings and IG reel hype

Considering the guy hasn't even driven his own car in like 5 years I doubt anything he makes is real but it's pretty cool

That front section of the frame is NOT strong enough to run a suspension arm off of without some plating at least. It literally has notches in it because it's designed to fold easier than the frame sections behind it

Yeah don’t think he’s seen any dirt miles with the kit. If so it’s extremely minimal.

Might be a real rendering but it’s never been installed on anything. Nor has he shown any real accomplishments with his own vehicle that he claims will pull over 20” of 4wd travel without portals. (I’m sure mason would love to know how).

As @not_nick stated, without at minimum an engine cage and serious bracing in the front section of the frame, have fun. J-arms put a whole lot of stress on the chassis. Their ONLY real benefit is fitting a larger bodied shock. So unless this kit fits a 3.5 or larger, well. It’s a novelty.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
Holding pattern on the seats and associated cage components. the custom PRP seats came in a few days ago. they're gorgeous, and super comfortable, however, PRP embroidered my company logo upside down and without the company name :bananadead: so fedex just picked them back up this morning so PRP can remake and install the upholstery. no harm done though. PRP has been very responsive in getting it corrected, and i really am not going to have much time around the holidays to work on them anyway.

For the few days they sat in my office though, Lia approved.

Honestly unlikely. I’m going to continue doing things for my personal truck. And maybe selling/installing things for certain people. I just find far greater enjoyment playing with one off.
