Yeah, could have been real bad if not for Matt, Matt & Tim! Glad you guys are all out, can't speak for @SwagThor but I sure as hell had a long weekend feeling very useless, probably the closest to you guys, and unable to do shit. Only able to follow along on FB & FRS Sunday...

Long weekend indeed, honestly you guys did help, I know @SwagThor was posting in the FB post. It just helped having people give visibility on the issue. In the end the most specialized vehicles, super light jeeps/buggies on 40s+, and it super slow going even for them. More stuck vehicles would not have helped the situation.

Yeah I knew i wasn't gonna do anything beyond maybe bringing fuel to the plow line, you saw how even the most equipped rigs struggle in this shit, snow gives 0 fucks.

This whole thing is making me rethink the second car idea. Not sure i can afford a proper LS buggy, but a 1st gen 3.4 on 40s wouldn't be terrible....

Dude this is insane! I’m glad you guys are okay. I had no idea…. I’d wish I’d check the forum earlier. Just now learnt all about this. I could have reach out to some friends of volunteer search and rescue for a snow cat. Boy what an adventure you guys had!

Saturdays snow storm was no joke. Glad y’all made it out. I was in Kings Beach for the weekend testing out the ‘24 on some 35s I just mounted. My truck bed was still full of snow when I made it home 4hrs later

Sadly, wouldn't wish this level of Fuckery on anyone else. I wonder if things went really sideways, would they rename the lake....

The best stories have some level of suffering and only for a lack of food, we have Donner Pass...

I'd be tempted to bring like a snow blower or something...can you get one that mounts on the front of a Tacoma? :D

    edit: holy shit! You can!
