looking to lift my 05 taco and I was given 2 options
    - a ICON adj coil over and 1" rear springs I could run 33/11.5 on 8" wheels with 5" backspacing. Anything I need to worry about like tire rubbing, extending brake lines etc?
    - RCD 4-5" system
besides price whats my best option

First off, those two options couldn't be further away from each other on their purpose.

Are you going for looks (RCD), or offroad performance (Icon)?

There are plenty of other options out there as well, less expensive ones as well.....

5" BS is cutting is close, but with some trimming and a cab mount chop they should fit.

you would need extendedbrake lines with the RCD, but not with the icons.

If you are going for performance, not looks, then DO NOT get the RCD. It will actually lower your ground clearance in comparison to your stock truck.

If you are looking for adjustable coilovers, pretty much anything is cheaper than icon. Look at Toytec, Radflo, etc.

pretty handy with a wrench done lifts on older striaght axles before so probably do the work myself. Are UCA's a must with the coil overs and what did you do on the rear? I'm looking to get 33" tires underneath

Uca's usually are needed if you go over 2.5". An add a leaf for the rear is the way to go
