2nd Gen AC's for FTW. Good to see the faux beadlocks as well. As more FJ's get ruined, hopefully those wheels can be spared.

Lotsa time in South Ben last week, and likely over the next couple of months. I'll keep my eyes peeled. I'm pretty easy to spot. Debadged, Faux BL, Bestop.

I haven't seen many red access cabs, let alone with the canvas topper, so you should be easy to spot!

Just a bunch of old crap
Just transplanted to Indy 3 months ago from AZ. I only see stock newer tacos out here. Totally different from how it was in Phoenix. It's all domestic full size trucks and bolt-on Jeeps. And where is the public land to get some tires dirty?

Public land isn't much of a thing around here(at least that you can wheel on) unfortunately. There's a park up in Attica north of Indy for your dirt fix, but that's all I know of.

My taco is pretty stock with the exception of an AT Summit topper. Your rig looks really nice from the profile pic!. If you're ever in the north side of Indy I would love to see it!

Sorry Man. Got to be a major shock to your system. Especially with the temps this week. I'm right up the road from you by the Resevoir. I always note the 2nd gens when I see em. Definitely 2nd class in the local truck culture.

What's everyone's upgrade list on their trucks for this winter?

I bought new tires(Michelin Defender LTX) and some new wipers. Weather starting to get bad and both were in need of replacement.

yup. HOPING to find Michelin LTX AT2's in both the right size and white lettered. Had a set before and they did a 115k. Best tires I've ever had on any vehicle. They're very hard to come by for our trucks though. Have to because the Coopers on there are shite. Not all Cooper are, but these are. Adventurer AT. Cheap Pep Boys tires that came on the beadlocks when I grabbed em a while back. They were nearly new so I thought'd I'd run em a while. As soon as it started spitting this year it became VERY clear they needed to go.

After that, I'm hoping to refresh the entire suspension. Not a lift. New 3rd gen leaves and Elka 2.0 all around. Should bump it an inch or so but be a quality ride. That should get me to spring. Did away with the Bestop softie for winter so I can run her through the car wash often to preserve the frame. Spare no expense for Lucille.

Howdy friends, got sent here when I posted in the 4th gen thread. I was looking for people in Indy because I’ve seen some nice Tacoma's on the road. I always give a friendly wave to other Tacoma’s lol

Welcome! Not much of a waver myself, but I'll always chat for a few when people ask about mine.

How do you like your 4th gen?

Maybe I’ll see you around! I’m in a stock black OR with some switchback headlights that might help identify me more lol.

Coming from a 2010 Silverado that was a POS it’s fantastic. I HAD to get a new truck and always wanted a Tacoma so pulled the trigger. Test drove the sport and OR. OR felt like a more enjoyable ride so went with it. I absolutely love this thing and have had 0 issues with it, granted I only have 1900 miles so far. Daily driver and every day I’m so stoked to hop in and hit the road lol.
