Looking to DIY inner and outer tie rods. There seems to be a lot of debate about this topic, but the general consensus seems to be that of hit or miss especially with the more budget friendy options like Moog or Mevotech. Perusing the forums there seems to be more talk about Moog than Mevotech. Any opinions on the latter? I am your typical daily commuter with a longer (>800mi) road trip thrown in once or twice a year. Wondering what my expectation should be buying this kind of part hoping to get some life out it.

Any tips, tricks, or ideas for a smooth replacement is greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

OEM...the cheaper versions just dont last as long. Jut count threads when removing and you will need an alignment.

Well all the brands are meant to be compatible with the oem stuff so it should be compatible with each other.
