Seriously one of my favorite safety mods! I finally got to ride behind the taco to see it work. The momentary strobe effect isn't annoying but it gets your attention and is very bright compared to the stock tail lights and 3rd brake light. Tail light upgrade will be soon.

Also thanks to Hotshot Offroad for hooking it up on sale!

Just noticed that when the flashers are on the hitch light light strobes.

This is such a great idea. Do you have a write-up on installation?

Those PIAA"S have been on there going on 17 years... still work like new. :annoyed:

Backlight function on SS3 Pro can be hooked up To a constant 12v so the backlight is always on, right?

Yes, but the backlight will turn itself off when the main light is turned on.

Just did the DD 30” Amber Light Bar in the driving pattern. I’ve been running the SS3 fogs for years. I have the SSC2 pods on order for ditch lights but they’re backordered so not on the truck yet.

    IMG_0686.jpg IMG_0687.jpg

OEM style switches installed and wired into the panel under the radio. We had to move the ECT power button over to the far left because my OCD wouldn’t allow me to separate the ditch light and light bar buttons lol

DD SS3 fogs. Had them 10 months. Pro/Yellow/No backlight. Everything else is factory. They are SUPER bright and animals see them and scatter much faster. Squirrels give me at least a car length and a half during the day. Deer scram back into the woods at dusk/night. Neighbor’s pit bull acted all hard, but he too skittered back up on the porch to safety as soon as I started the truck. Too bright for City/downtown driving but great on country/mountain/foggy/snowy roads.

Anyone know when the new light bars they showed at SEMA will be available?
