Crossposted from the Baja Designs board to get more eyes on it. I am wanting to mount a Baja Designs RTL-s taillight bar on the back of my bed rack because the rack and RTT block the 3rd taillight. I had planned to use the Uptop Overland mounting bracket, but they told my family member that was trying to buy one for me for Christmas that they were out of stock and were not going to make any more. Does anybody know of somebody else making a similar mounting bracket that would work?

What rack are you running? Since the RTL has T-Slot, you just need to either drill two 1/4" holes centered on your rack or if the rack has T-Slot as well, use a couple 2" pieces of metal?

It is a Caliraiseled rack, so it has the t-slot cross member that I will be mounting it to. I liked the uptop bracket because it enclosed the taillight bar and would take more than a minute or two for somebody to unbolt it from the rack if they wanted to steal the light. With the RTL-s running $500, I would hate to have it be removable by just taking out a couple of bolts.

True. Look at tamper proof hardware. Definitely not anything that will prevent all theft...but if it isn't a 10mm, it may cause thieves to go on to the next victim.
