Thanks for asking.

I always go alone and always carry enough food and water to hold out for weeks, if needed. And for convenience. I hate driving back to town for stuff.

Although in Lone Pine, I could always walk to the McDonalds at the bottom of the hill.

Found some snow back on the 9th, just east of Rainier. I’m sure there’s another couple of feet added by now.

 

Didn’t find any snow today, but still had a blast with the kid!

Hey Stuck,

Your new truck looks kind of stockish.

Back in the day, didn’t you use to drive a highly modified, long travel suspension, with bed hoops and other fancy stuff?

 

I wish, but all my trucks have been roughly set up the same way for high-speed desert fun: heavier shocks and leaf springs. Back then I was running pizza cutters (BFG, of course, 33x9.50x15, take-offs from a race car) - maybe that gave the truck a different look.
