    Changed the battery on the Mrs' car.

    2015 GMC Acadia. Battery is inside the car, behind the passenger's side seat.

    Old battery didn't have a handle to grab it by and pull out. It was a bitch to get out.

    More and more they make even what should be the simplest thing difficult to push the average Joe away from doing it themselves.

    In theory it's an easy task but for the grab handle issue you mentioned, I reckon at least there versus under the hood it saves the potential of it falling from the tray.

    That said, how do you jump start that car if needed?

    Now that I think about it, it's not that difficult.

    There is a positive (red) cable under the hood that's by the fuse box, that's connected to the battery I'm pretty sure. Then for the negative just clamp it to metal.
