Yours looks super nice. Mine is more for people who need glasses but refuse to wear them.

I can't quite tell, what guages are you running there?

Can you get a boost gauge without removing the supercharger?

Hey all, I have a potentially dumb question, but would rather be safe than sorry.

Now that the SC is installed on my 3rd Gen, I can’t hear it at all. I haven’t noticed any SC whine with windows up or down. Is this normal? Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer it to be quiet, but wasn’t sure if this is the same experience as others have, or if potentially not hearing anything means it’s not running correctly?

Again, probably a dumb question since I definitely feel the extra power and torque while driving it, but hey, you never know!

    Awesome thanks for the input!

Super happy with this thing! Super charger + 5.29 + OTT, the truck can now climb up into the rocky mountains at 65-75 MPH while holding 6th gear. And highway cruising is an absolutely breeze. Can’t wait to get some longer roads trips with this thing to see how the long distance MPGs hold up. Might be my right foot playing tricks on me, but cruising on the highway yesterday I was getting 20-21 MPG where previously I would get 18-19.

lol not particularly, just a normal stretch of highway I drive pretty frequently. To be fair, I was trying to see what kind of fuel efficiency I could get, so maybe not a true apples to apples comparison. Wasn’t really driving any slower than usual though.

Not much for flat ground around me but my trucks usually about 16mpg per tank. What size tires?

Magnuson released a statement about this a few years ago, saying that the classic supercharger whine is actually a sign of inefficiency and that their new blower design is much more efficient and therefore quieter.

    YMMV :notsure:

Still seeing the same or a bump in mpgs?

I've been contemplating a maggy. I'm rocking 5.29s on 265/65r16 and will be making the switch to 33s this spring. My mpgs didn't really change overall with the 5.29s and I see 15-16 average (15-16 in the flats, 16-18 in the mountains), and I see better in some situations, but I'm worried a maggy is going to tank economy from an already mediocre number. I head to the mountains a few times a year, with either a 2k lb squaredrop camper in tow or with a RTT and overland weight. The lack of power unless screaming at 4.5k rpm is starting to get old.

It's either maggy the taco or switch to a Gladi diesel. I can deal with having good power but mediocre mpgs, but having poor power and mediocre mpgs is just not sitting well with me. I would love the power and economy of the Gladi, but the Jeep reliability has me hesitant.

I haven't noticed any penalty on mpgs since adding the maggy. I have put in around 8k miles so far and got the OTT tune on it and this thing is transformed IMO. I regeared to 488's and run 33s, and my rig is just a pavement princess so I don't offroad or do any mountain climbing or anything. HWY driving and around town.

I had the LCE version on my 1st gen and never had a problem, but it was N/A. Not sure if a spinny boi exasperates things
