Curious, is the truck being parted out?

 

I’m looking into different options. I can rent a truck from enterprise and a dolly from u haul, but after all the mileage fees and coverage it might not be much less than just getting it shipped. They quoted 296 for the truck, but then .25 cents a mile after 900 miles plus insurance and gas, then the u haul dolly. Shipping is $1200.

 

$1200 is a deal you won't beat on shipping a non running vehicle. That's super cheap

 

Not necessarily, I just was thinking of selling those parts to offset some of the repair cost since they’re not necessary for the truck actually running.

Yea like I said renting a truck is probably cheaper, but maybe not by as much as I’d think after all the fees and gas, etc.

That 1200 would also go a long way in terms of labor for the mechanic it’s at now. I think he quoted around 5 hours of labor to swap on a new trans/bell housing.

You're doing that thing where you take so much time any deal spoils

 

Maybe idk, the mechanic did say it’s fine to leave it there for several months so I’m not in a huge rush at least.
