I think there’s two mods with a Tacoma. I am not one. My Tacoma got punted from the fleet in 2017 or 2018 and immediately totaled by the next owner.:bananadead:

Also, not sure why my head went to booty meat for BMs.

Hello all, long time no talk. Looking to get my saggy ass rear leafs re-arched over at Dunbar springs here in PHX. I figured while they do that, they can replace everything else they need to. I am struggling with finding a list of parts needed. No lift on the truck, just want to get back to the proper rake angle and have some arch back in the springs. Truck is lightly offroaded (mostly camping and hunting)

New bump stops and compatible U-bolt kit, I'm thinking the duro bump kit (Toyota Rear Bump Stops 3.5 inches tall - No Lift Required) - should work with oem Ubolts

Is this a complete list of parts needed for this job? After taking screenshot I realize I will need (5) washers and nuts (4 for the ubolts, 1 for the front bushing)
    upload_2024-12-18_13-27-40.png
Is there anything else anyone recommends or suggest adding to this list. thanks

I'd look for some poly bushings for the springs and an add a leaf kit or a whole new leaf pack from icon or the like. And I'd check out perry parts for the bumps....

If you're looking for a u bolt flip kit I'd look at wheelers or toy tech.

One thing I missed when picking a u-bolt flip brand: being able to replace the bumps without taking it all apart again the access the screws o_O

You could probably buy the new one then return the new one with the old receipt if you already got it installed
My gf does that sort of thing all the time with clothes and things that go on sale right after she buys them

I take no responsibility if it doesn't work :anonymous:

I'm not sure that you're looking at the correct diagram. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I've been out of the game a little while, but third gen rear ends don't have a swaybar, and the lower shock mount isn't on the U bolt plate.

You are definitely correct, that is not a rear end diagram of a third gen. He does list a 2019 in his avatar, but maybe he is trying to rectify a problem with another Tacoma?

Doesnt look spring under, could possibly be a 4th gen diagram. Idk anything about those. Probably 4th gen base model without the links. But the diagram shows a top plate where the leaf spring would sit and u bolts going down over the axle with a bottom plate most likely. Definitely different

.... looking again.... I don't know what I'm looking at on that diagram... I tried. You fellas might be correct but even the 4th gens don't have spring under i don't think.

5-lugs are spring under at least for 1st gens, but there are no 5-lug 3rd gens right?

Maybe its a 2nd gen 5 lug diagram

4 cyl 3rd gens are 5 lug. All V6 models are 6 lug.
