I have had the same window deflectors on my truck since 2005. I now have an 07’. Just swapped them over. So they will be 20 years old next year.

Can’t be the quality of weathertech.
I take mine through the car wash and all.
They’ve taken a beating and still in good shape.

Looks good, I don't understand why they stopped making channels /rain gutters a part of the vehicle. Have had my weathergaurds on for maybe 15yrs

I've never had these on one of my vehicles. Do they increase wind noise? Why put them on other than looking nice when installed?

Well,as you stated they look really nice but they also provide the ability to have your windows vented while driving in the rain for natural air flow and they don’t make any wind noise

Of course, we're all talking about increased wind noise when the windows are closed, right?

Venting is big. That is usually one of the first accessories I put on. I am going with the glass channel ones for the first time on my 24.

when its raining I want to have natural air flowing through my truck, I can crack the windows without rain getting on me. With increased noise I couldn't say but others have seemed to answer that question here.

Yes. More noise than without them while windows are closed

I put a set of inside track AVS vent shades on and I did not notice any noise difference.

We wore these when topless. Interstate speeds. Semis are but a whisper. Talk with your passenger at normal levels. Radio at slightly above normal levels. I don't understand the science, but I know they work.

Slight increase in outside noise after installation. I thought my driver’s side window especially couldn’t tightly close like it did without them. But it just feels like increased wind noise and I just made myself get used to it :anonymous:

I don't like the look of them - - remind me of my JC Whitney "Dreaming of this..." and "Dreaming of that..." days... Circa 1986... Q: Why not just turn off the "Recirculate Air" button; then turn on the Fan and get fresh air that way?
