Hell ya! Load up the boost in second or third then let off the throttle. Wastegate/turbo flutter sounds amazing. Never did think this intake was going to sound so good

Got the running boards on and I’m not really thrilled with their look. I wanted mostly for the protection of the rocker and rear panels from rock chips but was hoping they might help the look overall too and that part I’m not so sure on. What do yall think? I’ll probably keep an eye out for some side step style rock sliders (for xtracab) so if you know of any please let me know.

lastly, these current boards/steps look cheap to me (unfortunately the only option outside of the factory tube steps I was able to locate). Do you think there’s anything I can do to them to help make them look sharper? Was considering spraying the top portion and end caps with bedliner or something but idk if that’s just a dumb idea or not. New to this but I think I’ve been doing pretty ok so far haha

Nice truck! I think the Cali Raised might look better if they make them for the Prerunner and even more so, if they extend more fully towards the rear.

Hate to say I agree with you. Why ion the world would they not extend them all the way back. That makes no sense. Hard pass on those. Maybe see if you can return them.

I wish, that was my first choice ideally but they said they haven’t had a chance to design for an extracab yet so couldn’t guarantee fit and from what I can tell there’s a bracket on the prerunner frame in the way of how their doublecab model would install

yeah the toyota tube step is the same way too. I think they have it like that bc the rocker panel technically ends at the of the cab and doesn’t extend all the way to the bed so there’s no support past the cab.

Haven't had a chance to put them on yet, but I got the OEM steps you mentioned. If it would help you out to see a pic, let me know and I'll post one so you can compare. Almost everything is only for DC---- really hope as time passes that will change.

I accidentally ripped off the felt cover the first time I took my truck off Roading to the Mojave desert.! The dealer even said I was missing a cover, but I think that’s only on the four-wheel-drive models where there’s a secondary felt cover behind the first cover on the SR5 pre-runner models.

Maybe somebody out there can confirm if they’re SR5 or pre-runner has “two” under tray felt covers? I’ve seen pictures of used or takeoff under tray covers for four-wheel-drive and they appear to be plastic instead of felt but I cannot confirm.

Clearly you need a bash skid. There are a ton on the market from Toyota and other vendors. Plenty of information and pictures here.
