What's your Midlife Crissis car

Ate these tacomas not mid life crisis vehicles? I’m doing this wrong!

 

Today is my day.

 

I had a na8 miata for a while. It was a great car. Just did full exhaust and flyin miata sway bars and bushings and she was a blast. I got rid of it when the engine started getting tired tho. So my 2 xrunners are my mid life crisis rides now lol

 

750? My ‘04 Mladin GSXR1000 was the most intense motorcycle I’ve ever owned. Sold it to try a DRZ400SM Supermoto. I thought it was fun but a little slow. The XSR900 that replaced it is overkill. Time to dial it back for the next one.

Alfa Romeos Had 3: '84 GTV6, '69 Spider, and '67 Duetto Spider. Sold them all off for the next passion, boats

 

I am hoping to convince my wife that this would be good for our household. I was thinking closer to the M5, but if i can get away with a two door than an M3 is the route that i'll be taking.

 

You made the right choice

 

Wife wasn't stoked about having a 2door M4 since we have kids (13 & 16) and the M5 is significantly more expensive. Funny thing is I rarely have people in the back seat and kind of wish I had the M4.

I spent a year looking for a manual M3 in either black or Yaz Marina blue with black interior and low miles. Finally found the one I bought which was 3 years old with 17K miles on it when I picked it up.

 

Well at 60, my new vehicle is…2024 Golf R in auto.

Got a great deal, drove it home today around 1pm and I’m now at work : )

 

1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. No modifications what-so-ever. I want the original radio. No cuts in the door panels. No cuts in the dash. No aftermarket gauges. Original engine. I even want the air cleaner cover to read "Oldsmobile Rocket 350". And if I don't see the oil fill where it's supposed to be, I know it's a crate engine....

I hate when people turn these things into 442 tribute cars....

 

For me: 1987 Buick GNX. For a short time in 1987: the fastest production car in the world. (McLaren helped Buick with that.)
