I made a post here about a month ago about Home Depot wanting 21k to reface our cabinets. 5k later, a whole lot of youtube/elbow grease and we have new uppers, a removed soffit, and crown molding. Next up the lowers! Biggest benefit was I got to buy and keep all the tools :)

Now that the mobile home rebuild is 99.44% complete. I decided to spend a few hours kneeling and lugging paver stones around. This is one of three entries I’ll be doing.
I think the lighting effect is the best part.

I like them because I'm a backwards lefty and you can read from both sides of the tape.

Decided to make my deck useable and convert it into a screened in porch! I have a lot of composite decking I think I'll reuse for a ground deck or something next to my shed.

Last weeks "fun" times.. This is the end result.

They were opposite of each other, so the doors swung towards each other making it a PIA to toss the wet clothes into the dryer. The doors were only reversible on the dryer, so that meant that I had to physically swap them, which wasn't any big deal. The plumbing, however, needed more love than I cared to find out about. Long story not-so-long, I ended up relearning how to sweat cooper pipe and fittings and ball valves. I only melted the seals in one valve, so it was a $15 lesson.

I didn't replace every inch of the copper pipe, just the parts that had green crud coming out of the fittings and where old frozen/crumbled-when-I-touched them water valves used to be.

I finally got around to tackling that thick, big ass old wood door that was rubbing on the stone floor. You can see the rub marks on the pic. The belt sanding belt (cut) on the floor method worked perfectly. Absolutely no room to slide a file/rasp under the door.

How many ghosts have you seen in this haunted mansion? Srsly though, that interior woodworking photo makes me think replacing my newel post wouldn’t be that much work. Ultimately why I love this thread!

It's a 100+ year old former sea captain/philanthropist's coastal home/estate. 11BR. You'd think there'd be some paranormal activity. But in the time I've spent working there, nada.

Anyone have any experience with paint sprayers. Going to be replacing all interior doors and trim/baseboard this winter. Don't want to paint everything with a brush. Going from stained hollow doors to white solid core. Setting up a makeshift paint booth in my garage to avoid overspray on garage items and so I can use electric heater inside the booth for warmer environment for paint to dry. Never used a Sprayer before. Can anyone recommend one or have any tips?
