Harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley rubber on its way out?

    G-Men sticker, driver's side "backseat" window - cracked driver's side headlight cover complete with hazy look - DIY 30 footer paint lift in Bedliner Black
    Just to add, that noise was from under the hood. I could hear it better from inside the truck. Less background noise.

    So much for Dayco parts... This is how mine arrived from Rock Auto. (Packaging was undamaged). Kristi with a K was right about going local. I think I'll bite the bullet and go OEM on attempt #2.

    What's wrong with it?
    edit: I see the chips on the pulleys now, but why not exchange it for another Dayco?

    After carefully inspecting the packaging, which looked undamaged at first, I found a few slices in the cardboard boxes (it was double boxed). I think someone mishandled it in delivery and those pulley edges hit hard enough to crack.

    At least OEM will be a local pick up.

    That’s messed up! I’d expect more from Rock auto.
    I had mine shipped as well & it made it ok…. Not something autozone had sitting on their shelf….
