I never understood why the folks from Saskatchewan pronounce it differently than everyone else it's like Sascach uwin.

My grandmother used to smack me for saying it wrong. She was from Saskatchewan.
Never knew every province had there own way of speaking till sitting in a pub with a group from Alberta and my wife's family from Quebec. F that was excruciating.

 

I had incorrectly assumed that I was being polite since she had brought her kids with her but at least one turned out to be the spawn of both his parents most fantastic qualities. It was probably punishment enough.
