I am incapable of keeping these things in original packaging. If it's that important to me I will buy two. I want to play with my toys!

My wheel supplier sent me some new wheel prototypes to try out to see if I like them. Back wheels only. They are OK just wish were deeper dished.I put them on a Hot Wheels 41 Willys. I have 2 Moebius 1/24 scale Ford F100s under construction right now A 66 and 69 models. Also have one of their new release 72 F350 wreckers back ordered.TACO World hot wheels pics 273.jpg TACO World hot wheels pics 274.jpg

TOMY 1/10 Back to the Future DeLorean. This was a Kickstarter project that I just got. Is it perfect, no. Is it very good, absolutely. For $299+shipping I would have liked a few less flaws on the car, but for the scale and limited production, it's awesome. I figure even if I sent it back and got another one I can't guarantee it would be any better. The only real gripe I have with the design is that the rear ride height is too high and the front wheels poke out too car. Otherwise it's unreal.

Agreed on that one. Too tempting. I would have zero regrets taking that one out.

Back in the day when I first started collecting I would buy two so I could open one and keep one in the package. Now I only buy one and open most of them. The ones with nice artwork I keep in the package.

Sometimes I feel a little bad about ripping a pristine truck out of its packaging, especially when someone has gone out of their way to preserve it.

Edit: but I do it anyway

As long as you roll it across the table or counter when you do open it. Or am I the only one that does this?

My 53 year old brother collects Star Wars figurines and has all the sets since the beginning of the franchise. He has 2 of everything and keeps 1 of each carded and plays with the others. I just visited him recently and hoped he wouldn't ask me to play Star Wars with him. If you are buying and look at reselling them to make a profit. Leave them carded. If your like me who likes to display them out of the package then don't worry about it. On ones I suspect may have value someday I try not to damage the packaging when removed and then store it if i ever need it. Hot Wheels I will usually slit the bottom enough to free up the car and the front still looks unmolested.

It's been awhile since I've found anything tbh... But I found these all recently! Some of them are not ones I go for but thought they were just to cool to not grab!
