    Ive shot few deer with muzzleloader. Had some malfunctions couple times. Bad powder/pellets was the main reason.

    before i went to 209 primers my hammer was worn and had a miss fire. of course it happened shooting at mountable buck.
    Make sure your hammer spring isnt gunked up which could cause a lite strike. :thumbsup:
