I'm methodical and place shit in labeled baggies and the sort. What I didn't expect were tons of extras of everything

Did you take parts from multiple Z cars? I did a sort of inventory, bought some more plastic containers from Home Depot, and separated the "extras" from the "need to install".

I'll have to go visit Miguel for the downpipe, but I did reinstall the trim in the car. If I decide to run the heater, I'll have to connect the plastic plumbing but I'm more like "fuck that"...almost want to delete the AC too.

What do you need for the 280Z that I can keep an eye out for?

Speaking of leafs, I’m trying to grease my bushings bc I did a real shitty job on install, is this possible without removing ubolts? I was hoping to do one corner at a time but I don’t see how I can get to the outside bushing that way
Are the studs on stock shackles removable if I hammer it out?

 

I just figured for the remainder of the exhaust, I could easily cut my own flanges and weld my own exhaust.

@Speedytech7 I saw your remark about stainless exhaust flanges, I had thought that to myself as well when I saw that post cause it's what plenty of guys in my group do.

Here's 3/8" stainless from a member recently (small holes were drilled he said)









Wonder if that guy was just trying to recoup some cash with the extra 3/8" mild he had?

 

If you're using the stock shackle nothing should really need grease

 

Where did I say that, I don't feel like I said that on this forum.

 

I didn’t put a drop of grease on the ome bushings when I put them in, they squeak so loud over any bump lol
