Toyo Open Country AT3's before? I didn't think anyone still had K02's in stock.

I'm happy with what I've got.

It's more the cost of things. I didn't look at anything hard, just compared to what I already have (an SR).

The SR package has no rear jump seats and no access door. And somehow it costs $10k more than it did 5 years ago.

The Tacoma has become the ultimate enthusiast vehicle (like the jeep). The utilitarianism has all but faded.. there were brand new trucks out there on the lot decked out in a the latest mall crawling apparel.

It was just a bit much looking at all the crap they had, all the packages, all the trims... Just seemed somewhere along the line they forgot that this was supposed to be a pickup truck.... The bed seems so damn small now I'm not sure what you can even haul with a 4door.. might as well buy a 4R and a nice utility trailer

Not a difficult mod but one that makes life a little easier. In the center console tray, I drilled a hole in the center and put a Paracord pull to make it easier to get it in or out. I struggle to get it out without spilling the contents all over the truck. (I know, that’s what she said)

The Toyos were loud from the start. I’ve had 3 sets of BFG’s in the past that were much quieter from the start. I wanted BFG’s on my last set but couldn’t get them & wound up getting the Toyo’s, which weren’t bad tires, but were defiantly louder than the BFG’s. I put over 45,000 miles on them & they still had some tread left. I’m so happy to have the BFG K0’s now.

Thanks! Yes stock size. I had Open Country 3’s 265 70 16 but I think this truck came with 245 75 16’s original size though (SR). That’s what the tag says on the door pillar. I like having the wider tires.
