It's times like this that I am really glad my house has gas heat, and I'm sure you are too!

Going to be a cold one for a couple days. I can see the oil level in the tank going down quite rapidly, and both zones are only set to 63°

I know. I cut into December sometimes, mainly leaves. Then I get lazy. But now have some days off I'm knocking out some chores. I put 20 hrs on that JD in a year , I think I'm going to start changing every other year.
Edit : I have a ceiling mounted furnace in the upper garage , makes work nice. Best $600 I've spent. Well maybe. It's called a hot dawg!

I have every intentions of keeping the leaves mowed; I'll do it once but luckily for me the wind kicks up and sends them in the two neighbors yards :anonymous:

Still waiting in the ER with my wife and two sons, all three have the flu. Wife and oldest son are both getting inhalers to help with the coughing attacks and all three are getting Tamiflu. My 13 year old has had a horrible cough where he can't catch his breath for 3 months now, he's had multiple chest x-rays (all clear) and antibiotics with no luck. Hopefully this helps. Been her in the ER in Wexford AHN since 12:30pm. They are packed.

    Can't like this. :annoyed:

There's been some serious funk going around and it has been passed around at work. Some how I've avoided the brunt of it.

When Covid was at its height people were washing their hands and staying clean, which meant hardly anybody got a cold. Now people have forgotten and I swear about 50% of people don't wash their hands :puke:

Jerry the attached tablets used in a hot shower help me when sinuses and lungs are rebelling. Give this a try. No script for prednisone?

Sending a few spare vibes your and your family's way. My wife has been going through something horrible for the past few weeks medically; we were in ER's twice, they sent us home twice, finally the third time they kept her, and now 3 days after that I am hopeful they have found the source of her woes. She was tested for flu/C-word/RSV every single time and came up clean every single time. It took the third trip to get their attention.

ERs can be horrible places to be, in my experience. You are lucky in a way because you know what is doing these things to your family. I wish you all a speedy recovery.
