I didn't realize how quickly the C8's dropped in value. I'm glad I didn't buy that hysteria purple metallic 2LT earlier this week. The C6 Z06's never were reliable from the factory. That LS7 is time bomb. I've never been a fan of the Porsche Boxter or Caymen. The 911, 100% yeah that's me.

Finding the perfect sports car/muscle car/fun car is darn near impossible.

I almost said F-it and just purchased a new truck, swap my King shocks over, and be done with it. IMG_6558.png
    IMG_6559.png

Only thing that stopped me is my truck is in really good shape, 62 gallon tank, B&W gooseneck hitch (factory ones are not as good), CP3 injection pump swap, Calibrated performance engine/trans tune, and some other goodies under the hood. I wouldn't gain much other than money coming out of my investments.

my whole life is a mid life crisis.
I’ve been wanting a 997 turbo but the last thing I need is to start making car payments again, and a 15 year old Porsche is probably a bad idea

You're not wrong...and I hate you. Very nice car. One of my other honorable mentions in my two year search. Had the seats in the M2 been a bit more comfy...that was the next car on the list. The M4 was out due to insurance cost.

You came up in conversation last month. I was out with Jeff and asked how you were doing. What a weird but fun night of operation Tacoma rescue.

I saw your mustang. Makes me want to go test drive one, but last thing I need is to get hooked on a different car.

Been doing good, mainly just working and trying to build up the cars. Moving around quite bittrying to find my way CO->CA->NV->ID.
I Hope you and Jeff are doing well and not having to deal with mini nightmares of people getting stuck in the snow.

Wow. You have moved around a bit. ID huh? I could do Bonners Ferry or Sandpoint area.

What have you done to the M3? Assuming you have done the crank hub.

I hem and hawed over the Cacti Green and now it’s gone. I don’t know if I would have actually gone through with it. Not really a Vette person, more of a TLX Type S. Stay tuned.

M3 has ESS G1 supercharger, big brake kit front and rear, M Performance muffler, BMW carbon pieces here and there, and a set of competition package springs waiting to go on.
This is the V8, no crank hub problem like the F80 M3. Instead it's the rod bearings, but I haven't touched them. Will probably have it done when the car comes out of winter hibernation.

Its a good area, very few complaints on my end other than the dark grey winters.

Picked this up last year, 2008 with 7,500 miles on the clock.
540 RWHP with 6 speed and 3.73 gears with very, very little traction control.
It scares me on a regular basis.

Oh that sounds so nasty. I drove a mildly modded M3 V8 car and it was a lot of fun.

I hear that on the winters. I was in Montana two weeks ago and forgot how dark it gets at 3:30.

That is a super clean GT500! Enjoy the heck out of it....just keep the rubber side down.

You didn't get that car out of Colorado by any chance and have it shipped?

No, picked it up local here in Calgary.
It was originally sold by Brown Bros out of Vancouver BC.
I was scrolling though Youtube videos one day and saw a mid 60’s drag Mustang with “Brown Bros” on the doors and after digging around turns out they have been in the drag racing scene back in the day. I think it’s kind of cool they did all the performance work on mine.

thought I would post a pic of my brother in law’s Callaway Corvette for you Corvette guys. Wasn’t really a fan of the silver stripe with black wheels but it’s growing on me. Thought it should have been silver wheels with the stripe or black stripe with those wheels but that’s how Callaway did it so he’s leaving it.
