    Heck ya. I ALWAYS make way too uch meatloaf so that i can have a bunch of sandwiches afterwards. That or I will heat back up in a frying pad and have with some nice mashed taters.

    Slow roast in a tight foil boat (skin open up top) at 250°F and finish at 450° F for 20 or so minutes to crackle the skin. Render the fat and crisp it up, almost like a roasted duck breast.

    Or.

    Slow smoke like a brisket (my favorite). Happy to offer ideas for either.

    Some of my best meal creations have been from that philosophy.

    Garlic chicken sausage coq au vin, with diced up salami instead of bacon because I had it, chicken sausages because I had them, carrots because I had them, over egg noodles because I had them.
