My mistake. It's the hardware for the old transfer case skid plate that will be delivered. The rock sliders still show for Monday.

I’m all good, I’m guessing im gunna need a trac bar with the 63s so the skid will need to accommodate that.

I may be interested. Let me take a peak and see if it might mount to my current setup

Shoot me a message for how much you want. And any idea if it's for the reroute or stock exhaust?

I always forget how much I hate selling stuff on FB Marketplace, until I sell stuff on FB Marketplace.

I sometimes wonder if these people know they have to remove their pants before they use the bathroom. If I had a dollar for every time I have someone ask if an item is available and not respond or tell me they'll message the next day and just disappear forever I'd likely be a hundredaire, if not a thousandaire by now.

Also, yes, I sometimes flip models I can get from BJs cheap, sending me a message how they can get it for the same price I did with their BJs membership...is there an end goal?

There is 0 benefit to having FB anymore. The marketplace was one of the only things justifing keeping it yes, the same thing was happening to me. 1/1/21 i shut it down and never looked back. So much more peaceful now.

I really only use it to sell things because that's how I justify all of my stupid purchases moving forward. But maaaaan people are dumb. I had a woman Venmo my wife a 50% deposit on some kids toys were were selling for like $30 with a note to leave the balance under the rug on the porch as we'd leave a bag out with name on it. It took her like...five? attempts to actually show up and get it.

As an aside, anyone else get the December Surprises, or is it just me?

In the past three weeks I had my chimney clap fly off the house in a fit of joy, my oven decide to go blooey and Amy grabbed a bolt right in the edge blocks on her LF JGC tire. Since it's full-time 4WD and we have a transfer case leak I know needs to get checked out I'm on the hook for four tires, even though I'd honestly likely be fine with two as I'm within parameters for most manufacturers but Jeep conveniently doesn't list a maximum tread depth difference and Central Jeep in Raynham can be difficult to work with with the Maxcare warranty.

We are planning on replacing the Jeep in 2026 and it can't come soon enough at this point. I know tires aren't a vehicle's fault, but I was smelling coolant again when I was changing the tire (a cold rainy night was a nice touch) despite 5(!) water pump replacements.

Jeeps awd system is incredibly sensitive. If you don't do the 4, might as well preemptively buy a transfer case or ptu, whatever the jgc uses these days

I wish I had the kind of free time that those people seem to have in order to waste other people's time..think of the stuff I could accomplish. Yikes..

Never can grasp that aspect of selling anything. Be on time and get it done if you want the item.

Eh, the Rav4 needs a TPMS sensor..not sure which one. Light tripped last night and I chalked it up to the winter but topped off all 4 to 34PSI today, drove to Market Basket and back, still on. But yeah, a while back with her sister's wedding imminent our furnace died to the tune of $4500.

Oh yeah, oven is a POS too but waiting till tax time for that one.

Frigging Jeep. I hope she's learned.

Is the light on solid or does it flash when you first turn the key on?

Wizard dust and hamsters. I'm not messing with it and bought all four. Feels bad when I've got 8/32" of perfect wear tires, but I'm not feeling like pushing my luck with it, either.

I've got a TPMS scan tool which well tell you which one's borked. I knew the Jeep would be a headache going into it which is why I bought Maxcare with it even though I'm usually anti-warranty. She's done with Jeep after this one. She wanted one since she was 16 and we were in the position to grab one so it made sense at the time, no regrets. She talks about how much she misses her CX-5 now, I suspect a CX-9 will be in our future, but I haven't done any reading on their reliability yet. The interior and driving dynamics on the CX-5 was top notch compared to the competition, so we will see what the CX-9 is like.

The busted oven was miserable with Christmas coming. I'm sure I could have ripped into the wiring and figured out what went bad, but when the relays all clicked as if they were engaging and the oven heating element rang out as working, I wasn't about to tear it down when it's 11 years old and the cost of replacement parts is likely easily 50%+ the cost of a new unit, especially with holiday cooking coming up. The last few appliances I've done whatever went wrong was either an 18-week lead item or more than 50% the cost of a new unit.

Regarding selling, the last one was a dude who messaged me and I responded within 1-2 minutes. My next response was like 2-3 minutes later and I get "you there". I tell him to come by whenever today (Saturday) and he's immediate I'll let you know tomorrow and crickets. That's...that's special. Rushing to nothing. Now, I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but that makes little, if any sense.

Blinks then turns solid, you have a bad tire pressure sensor.
Stays solid the whole time, low tire pressure.

The batteries in the original sensors had a life of about ten years. If a car comes into the shop that's about 8 years old, and a flashing tire light, I recommend all 4 sensors.

The new tire pressure sensors have a much larger battery.

Last night it was solid and went out after about 10 minutes of driving. I checked pressure today, one was right at 30. Aired all 4 up. It had the solid light driving to the store. Was flashing for a bit on the way home. I double checked pressures again but haven't taken it out yet.

Just a luck of the draw, I don't recall ever replacing one in the 2005 we sold in 2019. My truck has needed 2, both times I just let Town Fair do it and get it over with.

I'll see how it goes tonight when I go fill the tank, but I might take you up on that. Probably just bring to TFT Saturday and get it over with though.

Ugh. Broiler in mine isn't working and the ignitors are hit or miss but at nearly 20 yrs I feel like a new one might be wiser, especially given my not knowing how to fix the shit.

People are peopley. Like they think maybe you'll wait forever. Jeez.

Sensors can read and not read when the battery is dying. I had a car last week, present code for sensor #1 and past code for sensor #2. I recommended all 4. They only did one. They were back the next day and did the other sensor because the light started flashing again. I believe the car was 7 years old.
