I wonder why? Perhaps the the dealers asked for more pollen collectors?

You can change the brightness and position settings. I can see it with my polarized sunglasses.

Doubtful. 2026 MY we will probably see more options added. Not much usually changes for the 2nd MY of a redesigned vehicle.

Especially when you consider that the 2nd year is really the 2nd half of the 1st year.

I wonder if the HUD might be able to be retro fitted into the lower models much like heated side mirrors on 4runners. The wires were already in place on models that did not come with the heated mirrors. It was pretty much just plug and play.
Now I do believe that a special windshield might also be required.

The wires might be there but you probably have to replace the dash pad. Likely not easy or inexpensive.

I'd like to see Toyota build more Xtra Cabs for 2025. 4x4 XC are scarce in the northeast region. I'd see two new Orkins on the back of a truck yesterday.

Solar Octane is gone for good - Terra is now available on most trims - and Mudbath is now the TRD Pro color.

Still thinking I might be up for a trade if / when Toyota offers a Long Bed option paired with the hybrid powertrain in the future (aside from the TH model). Would prefer to keep my SR5 trim level, as it has what I need without paying for a lot of upgrades I won't use, but I could likely convince myself that an OR trim would be okay also. Doesn't look like 2025 is going to do that from what has been shared so far.

    Solar Octane or something different?

I saw 3 maybe 4, 24' Solar Octane Prerunners listed all have since sold. Nothing close to me, it was like Okland CA, Texas, and Larry H Miller in CO. There may have been a few others built. I'd have liked to have one, one local dealer had a silver Prerunner, that disappeared from the site in about 2 weeks.

Has it been determined if the IsoDynamic seats can be "self-deleted" by either removing all the shit on the back of them or replacing them with regular seats?

I'm actually thinking about a Pro now, but I have two kids.

I bet replacing them with regular seats would not be too hard. They are already wired for power, heating, ventilation, etc. Buy some premium Off-road seats from a wreck where the seat airbags didn’t deploy.

"The IsoDynamic seat as a seat within a seat. The cushions rest on an inner frame that attaches at two points to an outer frame (which itself mounts to the vehicle body). One attachment point is high on the seatback, and the other is a ball joint hidden below the front edge of the thigh cushion. Between these, the seat swings side to side like a hammock, up to an inch in each direction.
To regulate the IsoDynamic seat's movement, the prominent vertical reservoirs contain pistons that compress chambers of air. The right strut works against lateral swing, and the left one restrains up-and-down motion. Below each piston, oil flows through hoses to pairs of remote cylinders affixed to the seat."

If you remove the reservoirs and replace the up-down and lateral struts with fixed (smaller diameter) tie rods, you might free up space for a lower profile back cover. Probably not a kit from Toyota/TRD. Big enough market for an aftermarket kit? If you went with an adjustable tie rod/heim joint you could probably find something off the shelf. A custom auto upholster could wrap a wood/plastic/foam panel in red or black softex.

What about just removing the covers? How much room does that effectively free up, I wonder.

Why do you say that? Toyota, for a long time now, will introduce a new color onto the Pro models only for one year. The following year, make it available on the TRD options and then remove it for good after that.

Wishful thinking on my part. I’m hoping they’ll bring back Inferno. All new colors do not have to be a Pro first. Blue Crush and Supersonic Red are recent examples.
